Arrive Chengdu (500 m)
Meet in Chengdu, city hotel. Free day — Jinli, Wuhou Shrine or a teahouse are all easy wins.

Chengdu → Kangding → Litang (~9 h drive)
Over Zheduo Pass (4,298 m) and the string of high passes on the G318 to Litang, the "high city" of Kham (~4,000 m). Hotel night — first acclimatisation night.

Litang → Genyen's Eye → Old Lenggu Monastery → New Lenggu (3,900 m)
Drive over Tiejiangshan Pass (4,770 m); Genyen, Xiaozha and their neighbours rise in a line on the skyline. Stop at "Genyen's Eye", then a light 7 km / ~3 h walk to the old Lenggu Monastery facing the glacier. Guesthouse night at New Lenggu.

New Lenggu → Andu ruins → Flower-Sea Camp (4,100 m)
See the monastery's three relics, then ~14 km / ~6 h through old-growth forest and open meadow to a camp right under Genyen's south face — in July the whole terrace is one flower field.

Flower-Sea Camp → ridge traverse → Reti camp (4,180 m)
~16 km / ~7 h (+600 m / −300 m) traversing a dozen small gullies along the ridge, Genyen alongside all day. Camp in the Reti valley — the last camp with the peak in view.

Reti → 4,980 m pass → Gemu village (~3,900 m)
The big day: ~20 km / ~10 h, +800 m / −1,000 m. Five hours up to the 4,980 m pass for a last look at Genyen, then a long descent through the Lapu valley to camp at Gemu village.

Gemu → Haga-la Pass (4,790 m) → Hari → Anjiu → Litang
Short drive to the pass, then ~20 km / ~8 h mostly downhill along the Hari valley — one wide river crossing with a natural hot spring right after it to thaw your feet. Vehicles meet us at Anjiu village; drive across the Maoya grassland to Litang. Hotel night.

Litang → Chengdu (~9 h drive)
Back over the G318 to Chengdu, arriving around 19:00. Book onward travel after 21:00 — or better, the next morning.
